These hands-on cooking classes have been tailored to meet the needs of individuals with intellectual and physical disability, allowing participants to learn new skills and gain confidence in a friendly, inclusive and supportive environment.
Just like all our other classes, participants will learn to prepare healthy, fresh and tasty meals that can easily be recreated at home. However, to better support participants we've:
Reduced class size allowing for additional staff support
Provided additional cooking time for each meal
Ensured a calm, quiet and spacious environment
Scheduled classes within day-time hours
Improved disability accessibility including wheelchair access and adaptable kitchen equipment
Sprout Inclusive cooking classes are available for both NDIS participants, as well as non-NDIS participants who may require
additional support and assistance.
