Cooking classes may be funded if:
- They are directly linked to the participant’s NDIS plan goals.
- The activity is related to the participant’s disability and demonstrates value for money.
- There is professional evidence showing the benefit of the activity.

We believe our Accessible Cooking Classes meet NDIS criteria as reasonable and necessary supports that are:

- Focused on building daily living skills, confidence, and independence
- Conducted in an accessible, structured, and supportive environment
- Promoting participation in community-based activities
If you would like to seek NDIS reimbursement for Sprout Accessible Cooking Classes, you can request to be invoiced.
We provide invoices and receipts to participants or their plan managers, which can be used to claim reimbursement through your NDIS plan. Please note, it is your responsibility to ensure these classes are covered under your NDIS plan.
To request an invoice, simply use the promo code SPROUTNDIS2025 when making your booking. An invoice will be sent to you after the class.

We will continue to run the sessions for anyone who wishes to attend on a private-pay basis.
Absolutely anyone! While the sessions have been designed with additional support for individuals with disability, they are open to all ages 16+ who would like a fun, inclusive, and supportive cooking experience.

Yes. Participants requiring additional assistance must have a carer or support worker present for the duration of the class.
There is no additional charge for carers to attend.

This will confirm your booking with no upfront payment. It will triggger an automatic invoice to be sent to your Plan Manager after the Accessible Cooking Class has been held.

Yes, you’re welcome to join us for multiple classes in the same week. Our recipes change weekly, so if you attend more than one class in the same week, you’ll be cooking the same menu. To keep things fresh and exciting, we recommend coming back each week to enjoy a brand-new menu of delicious dishes!
Yes. Click on the drop down date menu to select the date you would like to book. This will add to your cart. Once you are on the Booking Detail page, click on “Make another Booking” at the top left side of the page. You can then add another class to your cart and process the items together.

Ages 16+ can attend our Accessible Cooking Classes
Ticket insurance is an optional extra cost but not available to be funded by NDIS.
Sprout Ticket Insurance entitles you to a credit note valid for three months should you need to cancel your attendance at a Sprout ticketed event for any reason up until 24 hours prior to your scheduled event. To purchase Sprout Ticket Insurance select “Yes please, add Sprout Ticket Insurance to my order” when proceeding through the checkout.
You can only purchase Sprout Ticket Insurance when proceeding through the checkout. You cannot add Sprout Ticket Insurance to your ticket(s) after your purchase has been processed.
Sprout Ticket Insurance can only be utilised once. If an individual utilises their Sprout Ticket Insurance they will receive an electronic credit note valid for three months for the value of the ticket excluding the cost of the insurance.
Credit notes can only be issued to the person who originally purchased the tickets and can only contain the name of the guest who is unable to attend.
To claim your Sprout Ticket Insurance you must notify Sprout via email ([email protected]) or phone (08 8443 4343) no less 24 hours prior to the scheduled event. Once a claim is received Sprout will email a credit note with the required value to the original purchaser.
