We are in the middle of a beer-olution and we aren’t mad about it!
It’s clear that beer is not what it used to be. It is now much more than a cold, golden, slightly bitter beverage consumed at the end of a hard day’s work, mass produced by enormous brewery companies. Today almost every new suburb has a brewery, and these breweries are producing Indian Pale Ales, Sours, Hard Lemonades, Chocolate Stouts, and super limited release beers, ranging in price from $75 to $150 per carton and alcohol content from 0.1% to 14%.
To guide us through this beer maze and help us make sense of this delicious beer haze, we have invited the legends from Bowden Brewery to take us on a guided tasting of their range of beers while educating us about the new world of beer and inspiring us with their story of home brew to suburban brewery.
Beer by Bowden Brewery, main course by Sprout chefs and good times all round!
Please note: Sprout Masterclasses are not hands-on cooking classes, but allow you to sit back, relax and learn from the best in the business!
